Congratulations! Adam submitted a paper as to why he should be chosen to be a guest at the upcoming PRSSA Convention in Salt Lake City this weekend. The convention costs hundreds of dollars, and since Adam's paper was chosen, he gets to go as a "guest"! He'll get to meet lot's public relation's professionals from such corporations as ABC, Boeing, and others.

I have a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University. I've been a television/radio news anchor, a public speaker, and held several leadership positions within my church. I have been married 41 years, mother of five, and grandmother of twelve. I am currently taking care of my 92-year-old father who suffers from dementia. I've lived in Boston, Austin, Utah, Spain, and South Africa. Most of my young life I was labeled as shy and quiet. But, while in college I became determined to break free of these labels. This led to a career as a television news anchor and many more experiences. I've had a remarkable life but not void of mistakes and challenges. I've learned ways to cope, and ways to find more joy despite difficulties. I am so excited to share tools I've learned and experiences with you in hopes that you can find greater positivity and happiness in your everyday situations. So much attention is drawn to being physically and mentally fit, but rarely do we talk about becoming emotionally fit. It is my hope to guide and help you navigate your life's journey toward more peace and happiness. Think of me as your emotional personal trainer! It's all a matter of thought!
