Spring Break Plans Suddenly Changed

We had airline tickets to go to Vermont, but two days before Spring break, we flew to Utah. Brittanie was leaping over a pile of laundry when she rolled her ankle and broke the ligaments in her foot. Isaac had just been to the doctor the day before, diagnosed with an ear infection, and with Brittanie being pregnant, I knew after hearing tears, that Utah was where I needed to be. Needless to say, Brittanie's foot turned black and blue from her toes to above her ankle, on both sides. Ugh! By the time I left on Monday, she could put weight on her foot, but her ankle still swelled, especially when she stood too long on it.
